AniMeals is a program launched by Helen Woodward Animal Center in Rancho Sante Fe, CA. This program provides free food to Meals-On-Wheels recipients. The program was founded when a Meals-On-Wheels delivery volunteer noticed that a woman he gave a meal to was sharing her meal with her cat. Many times, pets are the only companionship many Meals-On-Wheels recipients have each day. By providing free pet food, we ensure that both human and pet get complete nutrition, and we help pets and people stay together in their loving home.
