Its not comprehensive, but we're adding to it all the time. Some of the rescues are local, some are national, but all will most likely assist in some way when contacted.

It's important to keep in mind that most rescues are all-volunteer organizations with very busy volunteers who have jobs, lives, pets and families of their own.  You may need to contact a rescue multiple times and call and/or e-mail them a few times as well.

Due to the fact that Animal Rescue Foundation of SE PA, Inc. focuses solely on rescuing homeless pets from shelters, we generally do not accept owner surrendered pets.  If you are looking to surrender your pet, please thoroughly check any rescue or shelter.  Surrendering a pet is a serious, important decision and you should research rescues accordingly.
